Elena’s journey with skincare began with her own experience: a hectic lifestyle, frequent travel, and sensitive, reactive skin made her realize that most products didn’t provide what her skin truly needed. She wanted skincare that was gentle, effective, and worry-free. Something that she could return to with confidence.
That experience shaped how Ocean & berries was created. Elena spent time researching ingredients carefully, looking not only at what they offer the skin, but also at how they are sourced, processed, and handled. She came to understand how much these details matter, and how the same ingredient can feel very different depending on the care behind it. Each one is considered thoughtfully, with attention to quality, supplier standards, and how it will sit within the formula as a whole.
We take ownership of the process because we believe skincare should be both safe and effective. Every decision, from choosing ingredients to refining formulas, is guided by care and attention.
